Allstate | Future of Protection

Allstate has been around for 91-years and people often think of them as just a traditional insurance company. The reality is, they are far more modern and forward thinking than people realize.

In 2021, the creative team at Allstate was asked to recruit senior level leadership candidates, and they knew the first thing they had to do was change the perception of Allstate.

To do that, the creative team came up with the idea of showing what the future of Allstate could look like in the next 5, 10, or even 91 years, and invited candidates to be part of the team to make it a reality.

This campaign and the assets created for it was launched in August of 2021 on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. It specifically targeted digitally minded leaders and showed them what the future of the company could be.

For the production of these assets, we partnered with the team at Visual Creatures to leverage Unreal Engine to create these futuristic 3D worlds and the assets that came out of them. Unreal Engine allowed us to bring to life dozens of examples of what the future of protection could be, in a much more nimble and cost effective manner than traditional 3D animation.

This project was a team effort by all involved in it, and it changed hands a few times. My role in this project was working with the creative team to help get the idea off the ground and find the right partner to work with to execute this project, get it bid out and work with the marketing teams budget to find the best value for the project, and then worked to get it up and running. A few weeks after awarding this project, I handed this off to the staff EP at Allstate when I left for a staff position at another company.
